COVID-19 has

efforts to avert maternal and child mortality amid the ongoing pandemic.
Everyone understands that it is crucial to take good care of the health and
welfare of girls, women, and mothers.

every woman should also understand that it is her primary responsibility to
take care of her own physical and mental health. They should keep a balance in
their domestic and professional responsibilities and should never forget their
own body in the whole process. They must ensure adopting a healthy lifestyle
for leading a happy life.

can stay holistically healthy, while fulfilling all the responsibilities, if
she takes care of a few things in routine life.
Take Nutritious Food

should consume foods with folic acid as it plays a major role in preventing
neural tube defects. So, eat more green leafy vegetables, citrus fruits, beans,
and folic acid enriched foods. Most importantly, women over 45 years age should
increase the intake of Vitamin D and calcium from dietary sources for strong
bones thru the lifecycle and to prevent bone ailments. If necessary, then do
consider taking additional supplements of vitamin D3 and calcium.
Be Physically Activity
Stay physically
active! Adults aged 18 to 64 years must include 150 minutes of
moderate-intensity physical activity every week. Try to include a variety of
exercises like, running, walking, stretching, swimming and more. It is good for
heart health, stress reduction and weight management.
Learn to Relax
There’s no doubt
that today’s lifestyle can be stressful. Between family, professional, and
other obligations, it can be hard to get time for relaxation. But it’s crucial
to find the time for it. Relaxing keeps your body and mind awake helping you
deal with stress that life may toss at you.
A stressful
situation triggers the release of harmful hormones in the body, putting you at
risk for critical health issues. Curtail this risk by learning and practicing
relaxation techniques everyday.

Women give life,
sustain families, and fulfill responsibilities outside the home. They have a
lot to do, but their energy level is often taken for granted. They also have to
deal with hormonal changes and it can take a toll on their frame of mind and
energy levels. It is important to keep the fatigue level under check for
maintaining the energy level.

improved sleep. With meditation one can connect with the Universal energy and
