Principles and Belief System

India gained Independence on August 15, 1947, but it was only on 26 January 1950, that the Constitution of India came into force and India became a truly sovereign, democratic and republic state after the adoption of the constitution. The country was officially known as the Republic of India — a “sovereign socialist secular democratic republic” that “secures all its citizens' justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity,” according to its preamble.

Now why it is done, only because it is important to follow the certain system and guiding principles for successful development of anything in life.

As a law-abiding citizen, we all follow the laws. We know the adverse effects it has if we don’t comply to the set rules. These rules ensure harmony for all of us, and if we don’t comply then it results in chaos. Similarly, a living that is based on principles guarantees a smooth life without any chaos. The life without principles is like a vehicle without steering wheel. The direction of life is aimless and wayward.
Know Yourself -The Book of Life
Self-knowledge and self-awareness are important because they show us the path to greater happiness and fulfilment. There are a few of countless lessons that Bhagavad Gita teaches us. Get enlightened about them and try to imbibe them in your day to day life! We must not shy away from admitting our failures, just as we should be proud of our achievements. It all starts by knowing yourself and what exactly you want to achieve in life.
Belief is everything
Man is made up of his belief. If you think you cannot achieve your desired goal, you have lost the battle before the start! So, do not doubt yourself as you will not be able to do anything! Make yourself believe that you are capable enough of accomplishing every task. You’ll win in the situation despite circumstances.
Live a Principled Life
It is very important to live a principled life to break the glass wall! Now it might seem ironical but is very practical. If you really want to excel in life and go beyond your limitations, it is important to practice a few principles that can help you do so.

Independence day is about Swa-raj, which means self-governance, while Republic day is about Su-raj - good governance. It is very important to organize your life so that you may rule it. Similarly, it is necessary to understand that you can contribute to the good governance of the Nation by properly understanding and following your rights and duties. Because patriotism is not only a day feeling, it should be a very part of life!

Manav Dharma is Mahadharma | World Religion Day

The only religion we are all born with!
Every religion in the world teaches to choose truth over lies, good over evil & right over wrong. It also tells it's seekers to live in peace and harmony. But we all get lost in the outside world. We surrender ourself to the outside world in the search of happiness. We all forget that true happiness has to come from within. True happiness comes ones we connect to our true being. Learn to be a good human and happiness is just a by-product of it.
Every religion created, was a medium to help us evolve. Let's work together to create the “temples of humanity" where the truth is taught in its true glory and pure form without any distortion, misinterpretations, and misperceptions.
All of us belong to the one category that is the human race and should definitely follow the religion of Humanity. MANAV DHARMA IS MAHADHARMA, it is doing the karmas that are in favour of people and the existence as a whole. Humanity is an important part of life which tells us to help others and to understand others. An enlightened being aims to live according to his Svadharma – his true nature — and learn to control his mind. He takes from society as little as is essential for his survival, and gives to it as much as he can. His actions are not motivated by any self-interest.
For showing humanity you don’t have to be a rich person, even a poor person can sow humanity by helping someone or sharing his or her food, etc. Being good isn’t an easy task. To be so, you must recognize the bad within you. Are you almost good and not quite bad? Just as without darkness, who would appreciate light? How can you be good without any shade of bad within you? It just implies that one must accept the bad qualities within and work to eliminate it. And did u even realize what is bad? The thing that is harming either you or society.
Your life is a piece of art. Just as there is a skill needed to make a fine piece of art, in the same way, there is the skill needed to make a good life. We can become the artists of our own lives. We can paint our lives with the splendid brushes of gratitude, forgiveness, love, humility, giving, patience, and truth. Few daily life practices can really help us emit positive vibrations in the Universe. Mind you! this is also contributing to make society a better place to live. Should adopt the following five qualities:
-You have to be polite always
-You should never hurt anyone
-Always use good words
-Always think Positive
-Walk on the Path of Truth
Bhagwad Gita says a wise man moves among the objects of Sense Gratification but keeps himself free from its bondage, keeping a tranquil state of mind absolutely controlled by his true self. So just be your true self. Similarly, do good to others but do not indulge in the results of it. Keep doing your part of positive karmas!

Celebrating the colors of Harvest Season!

Makar Sankranti is India’s major festival. This day, the sun travels from Tropic of Capricorn(Dakhshinayan) to Tropic of Cancer(Uttarayana). Hence it is celebrated to observe the day which marks the shift of the sun into ever-lengthening days. It marks the first day of the sun's transit into Makara (Capricorn), marking the end of the winter month and the start of longer days. The Sanskrit word Sankranti means "transition". This is also referred to as the sun becoming Uttarayan. The new configuration lessens the ferocity of winter and brings warmth to the earth. Saturn is the ruling planet of Capricorn & Sun is the father of Saturn. On this day, Father goes to meet his son in his home. As Saturn and Sun, both are mighty planets, their blessings can make humans achieve great success. Makar Sankranti is celebrated not only as a harvest festival but also regarded as the beginning of an auspicious phase in Hindu culture. So, all auspicious and sacred rituals are performed from this day onwards. For Hindus, Sun stands for Pratyaksha-Brahman - the manifest God, who symbolises glorious divinity, blessing one & all tirelessly. Sun is the one who surpasses time and also the one who rotates the Wheel of Time. In religious annals, the Sun God enjoys a uniquely high rank for this reason and is worshipped with great devotion, especially because the Sun’s energy helps generate and regenerate life-nurturing procedures. Makar Sankranti is, therefore, a celebration of plenty, propitiating the Sun God. This festival is observed throughout India, and is well-known as Lohri in Punjab, Pongal in Tamil Nadu, Sankranti in Bengal, Magha Bihu in Assam and Tai Pongal in Kerala. Similarly, the fire God is worshipped as the festival of Lohri arrives by the lighting of bonfires. Lohri marks the culmination of winter and start of the harvest season. It infuses vitality and zeal in the lives of people – especially the farmers. It teaches us to burn away all our ego and jealously in the fire and emerge out as a pure-hearted person. The festival of Pongal too teaches us to adopt new thinking and a new approach in our lives. Cleanliness of homes and adopting a clean and simple approach to living life. More than anything else, however, it is the kites of Makar Sankranti which remind us of our existence. As we sway in the winds of life's illusions, seemingly drifting in the open skies, lost and distracted by the environment which is around us. We all have a lesson to learn from this kite-flying ritual.  Be like the kite which flies without fear in the sky, unaffected and detached by the currents that sway us. Celebrating Makar Sankranti is a wonderful way to reassert this profound and timeless Hindu spiritual heritage.

Beat stress and succeed in exams!

At the outset, let's first understand the most important thing. The aim of the exams is not to find out in which subjects they, the students, are weak or how much one can score out of 100. Rather the aim of the examination is to assess as to what are the real strengths of each student. So the students and their parents can get clarity about the path of their future career.
It is instilled in every child's mind from childhood that he/she has to be ‘Number One’. Now, this is where the whole thing goes wrong. Just imagine, millions of students around the country are striving to be Number One! How can everyone be number one? and why each one has to be on the 1st just for the sake of society. For sure, it is going to give rise to disappointments to many.
It is therefore very important for teachers and parents to make students realize that scoring less marks in the exams is not the end of all. They should definitely focus on marks but moreover in solving the problems, enhancing the talent of their kids and helping them grow.
The examination is the time for relaxation because it is only then that the performance can be at its best. Let's not think that, 'Exam time is like a battlefield for students - perform or perish. No wonder a majority of children feel confined, depressed and stressed. The fear of success or failure starts to bother oneself much before the actual examinations.
Narad Muni, a great educationist, was a staunch devotee of Lord Vishnu. His learning is all compiled in the Narad Purana, which contains tips and tricks on how to make your home happier. There are some tips which are not only beneficial for the householders but also for the students.

Manage your sleep

During the exam, the student tends to sleep for 6 to 7 hours instead of 9 to 10 hours. But a student should take short naps when he feels drowsy or in between long hours of study.

Taste Bud

Learn to keep your taste bud in control. One should only eat homemade foods during exam time. Completely avoid anything sour or cold that may affect your health. The light homemade food is essential as it gives you energy and does not make you lethargic. Food made in too much oil and spices tends to make you sleepy.

Keep on repeating

Be like a bird that builds a nest by collecting leaves and twigs, again and again. Similarly, a student too must repeatedly keep on revising his subjects but in a very relaxed manner.

Drink plenty of water

Drinking water not only hydrates your body but also hydrates your brain. While you should not drink too much water on the day of the exam, but have enough to keep you fully hydrated.

Meditation

Students must completely relax two hours before the exam. The best thing will be to do yoga & meditation. It helps to increase the focus and concentration level.
The above-mentioned tips are very easy to follow, they are small steps preparing students for success.

Listen to Music

Entertainment is definitely important during exams. But rather than watching Television or Videos in your mobiles, it is better to listen to music that soothes you. Watching TV is again involving too much of your brain and senses and this tends to even exhaust them further. Slow music will help you relax.
It is very important for the parents to understand that they must help them follow these and be true support for their kids and not load them with the burden of success or impose them with anything. Let them relax before and even after the exams, do not isolate them from regular life. Prepare them to perform better. do not burden them with future expectations. The same way it is also important for kids to understand that the support, caring and understanding of the parents should not be taken for granted. They must do their best and leave rest to destiny because 200% hard-work will definitely result in success.
